The flagship phone market in 2026 is honestly getting wild. Every brand is trying to push bigger batteries, crazier zoom cameras, brighter displays, and desktop-level performance into smartphones. This comparison is based on OPPO’s official product information, published specifications and available independent reporting..
The new OPPO Find X9 Ultra and OPPO Find X9s Pro feel like phones designed for people who genuinely care about cameras, battery life, and premium hardware instead of just flashy marketing numbers.
The Find X9 Ultra is clearly the go all out flagship. Huge 200MP Hasselblad cameras, a massive 7050mAh battery, a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, and 10x optical zoom. Meanwhile, the Find X9s Pro feels more balanced – still premium, still powerful, but easier on the pocket and probably more practical for most people.

Design and In-Hand Feel Comparison
The first thing I noticed is how different these two phones feel in terms of personality. The Find X9 Ultra looks bold and expensive. The camera module is huge, and honestly, it reminds me of carrying a professional compact camera in my pocket. It screams camera flagship. Some people will love that. Others may think it looks oversized.
The X9s Pro feels cleaner and easier to use daily. It’s slimmer, lighter, and less intimidating. If you use your phone one-handed often, the X9s Pro will probably feel more comfortable. The Ultra definitely feels more premium, but the X9s Pro feels more practical.
Personally, I think OPPO nailed the finish quality on both devices. The matte back panels and curved edges make them feel properly flagship.
Display Quality – Which Screen Looks Better?
Both phones come with 144Hz AMOLED displays, and honestly, both are excellent. But the Find X9 Ultra clearly has the better panel.
Why the Ultra Display Feels Better
- Higher 2K resolution
- Better brightness outdoors
- Sharper text
- More immersive video experience
- Better HDR performance
Watching YouTube, Netflix, or HDR content on the Ultra looks ridiculously sharp. Blacks are deep, colors pop, and scrolling feels incredibly smooth.
The X9s Pro still looks premium though. Unless you put them side-by-side, most people won’t complain. If you consume lots of content or edit photos/videos on your phone, the Ultra display is definitely worth it.

Snapdragon vs Dimensity Performance Test
The OPPO Find X9 Ultra uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, while the X9s Pro uses its respective flagship platform. These processors are designed for demanding workloads including gaming, image processing, multitasking and on-device AI.
The Ultra’s higher-end hardware makes it technically positioned for demanding workloads, but processor specifications alone do not establish sustained gaming performance.
Actual performance can vary according to:
- Thermal management
- Game optimization
- Software
- Ambient temperature
- Display resolution
- Graphics settings
Camera Comparison – Which Phone Takes Better Photos?
This is honestly the main reason people will buy the Find X9 Ultra. And yes – the camera hype seems real.
OPPO Find X9 Ultra Camera Setup
- 200MP main camera
- 200MP telephoto
- 50MP ultra-wide
- 50MP 10x periscope lens
OPPO Find X9s Pro Camera Setup
- 200MP main
- 200MP telephoto
- 50MP ultra-wide
- My Real Impression
The X9s Pro already takes flagship-level photos. But the Ultra feels more like a professional photography tool. Photos from the Ultra show:
- better dynamic range
- more natural skin tones
- sharper zoom shots
- stronger night mode
- more cinematic portraits
The Hasselblad tuning especially helps with colors. Images don’t look overprocessed like some phones do nowadays. Portrait shots look surprisingly natural.

200MP Zoom Camera Explained
The biggest flex on the Find X9 Ultra is definitely the zoom camera. Most smartphones still struggle beyond 5x zoom. But OPPO is pushing a dedicated 10x optical periscope system combined with AI stabilization and 200MP processing. In theory, this should allow:
- sharper long-distance shots
- cleaner moon photography
- better concert videos
- improved wildlife photography
- more stable zoom video
Honestly, this feels like one of the few smartphone zoom systems that might actually compete with dedicated compact cameras.
Battery Life and Charging Speed Comparison
Battery life is becoming more important than raw speed now, and OPPO clearly understands that.
Find X9 Ultra
- 7050mAh battery
- 100W wired charging
- 50W wireless charging
Find X9s Pro
- 7025mAh battery
- 80W charging
Both batteries are huge by flagship standards. The X9 Ultra should comfortably last:
- 1.5 to 2 days for average users
- full gaming days
- heavy camera sessions
The X9s Pro should also easily survive a full day. Charging speeds are insane on both phones compared to iPhones or Samsung flagships. The Ultra especially looks ridiculous – going from low battery to nearly full in under an hour sounds extremely useful in real life.

ColorOS 16 and AI Features
ColorOS has improved a lot over the past few years. Older OPPO phones sometimes felt bloated, but ColorOS 16 now looks cleaner and more polished. AI features include:
- AI image editing
- AI photo enhancement
- AI translation
- AI writing tools
- AI call summaries
- Smart battery optimization
The software now feels much closer to a premium flagship experience instead of just Android with extra apps. Animations also look smooth and modern.
Gaming Experience – Which Phone Performs Better?
For gaming, the Find X9 Ultra is clearly the stronger device. Games like:
- BGMI
- Call of Duty Mobile
- Genshin Impact
- Warzone Mobile
should run better on the Ultra because of the stronger Snapdragon GPU.
Why the Ultra Wins for Gaming
- better sustained performance
- improved cooling
- stronger GPU
- higher frame stability
- faster touch response
The X9s Pro still looks capable though. Casual gamers honestly won’t struggle on either device. But hardcore gamers will probably prefer the Ultra.
